Business Development Manager – Automotive

The Role: Our client are expanding their sales team and are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to cover the Automotive sector across the UK. As a Business Development Manager you will be selling a range of cable management solutions such as cable insulation, identification, tooling, and connectors into Tier 1 OEMs and the rest of the supply chain. This is a specification led role and your task will be to project manage at the front-end and follow those steps through to getting your product on that particular project. You will be dealing with all levels of stakeholder from Design Engineers through to Procurement at the highest station.

This is a varying role as our client's product has application with everything to do with the Automotive sector. Whether that's in the dashboard, lighting, electrics, or panels. The possibilities are endless. As such they are looking for a well-organised, structured, and knowledgeable Business Development Manager to grow in this role and grow their career.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

Have a B2B field sales track record in the Automotive Industry
Understanding of the sales process and specifying product into projects
Has a demonstrable track record of dealing with Tier 1 OEMs in the sector
Have an eagerness and willingness to learn & develop
Professional in approach
Full & Clean Driving licence

Salary: £50,000 basic salary DOE + 15% Annual Bonus + Car + 25 days holiday + pension scheme

Candidate Location: Watford, Oxford, High Wycombe, Slough, Milton Keynes
