We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Background Screening Administrator to join our dynamic team..
The role of a Screening Administrator is responsible for carrying out the back ground screening for the new recruits into our business. Our team deliver a high-quality service to ensure that our employees meet all company and industry requirements and standards.
Although demanding, this role will allow you to manage your own caseload and demonstrate your exemplary organisation skills and customer service skills engaging with internal customers, candidates and new employees.
You will make the onboarding process pleasant and engaging for our new recruits.
As a Screening Administrator you are tasked with upholding the professional integrity of Securitas Security (UK) Ltd and to lead the Industry codes and ethics of good Security and employment practice through a professional screening process, with particular focus on compliance of the screening process.
On a day to day basis you will be ensuring that administration errors or time delays do not impact on the Operations ability to take on additional work whilst delivering results for the department that meet or exceed those required.
You will be accountable for the completion of the 5/10 year verbal (provisional) screening in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring authorisation before employment and training is commenced as well as making sure that all paper and computerised personnel records are always accurate and complete.
Other responsibilities are to undertake all five year screening processes in accordance with Securitas Standing Operating Procedure, BS7858 andrRecruitment procedures for new employees and TUPE transfers.
Essential Skills
To be succesful in this role you will need to understand that the way you support people in the background screening process makes a difference to their perception of Securitas, which then supports the success of our business. Your understanding of people, commnication and customer service is therefore imperative.
You will need to be confident, articulate and communicate well both verbally and in written language.
You should have excellent organisation and administrative skills, be able to work on your own initiative to strict deadlines.
