Are you looking for a customer care career at one of Europe's leading businesses? We are recruiting talented individuals to join the team as a Customer Service Order Processor at the head office of our international client in Milton Keynes. The salary for this role is £20,000.
This is a role in which you can make a real difference to customers businesses, by offering first-class customer service and administration/order processing. To be successful, you’ll have an excellent telephone manner dealing with queries and using an ERP system.
Main Responsibilities
Organization of inbound email mailboxes and distribution of customer queries
Accurately process orders by direct order entry onto the Company‘s computer database
Making outbound calls to customers to clarify any order queries where required
Ensure that all customer orders are scheduled in line with their requirements and work closely with other departments to ensure that they are despatched and delivered within agreed timeframes
Seek written confirmation from customers if there are any amendments to the original order/quotation
Raise orders for all non-stock items after completion of processing
Create and maintain professional working relationships with all internal stakeholders
Handle customer queries (phone and email) efficiently and effectively each day and deliver an exceptional customer experience
Supporting the CSR and your cluster with priority emails for transport, planning and supply chain
Ensure accuracy of order processing by direct order entry onto the company computer database
Completion of Daily checks to ensure all orders are accurately entered, released and unblocked for scheduling
Thorough personal performance contribution to individual and team results in line with the departmental KPI’s
Build key professional working relationships with customers
Manage any supply or delivery issues to ensure targets is achieved
Contribute to and maintain all the systems, procedures and practices which support the sales and customer service function Essential Skills/Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
Previous experience in a Data Entry / Order Processing role
Previous experience in handling inbound/outbound calls and Inbox management
Self Motivated and Courteous with a good telephone manner
Experience of working within a busy, fast-paced and demanding environment with the ability to work accurately within strict timescales
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Strong administrative capabilities
Keen eye for detail with the ability to spot errors
Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
Computer literate
Resilience
Confidence
Willingness and openness to learning new skills Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
Previous experience of working within a customer service environment in a manufacturing or similar industry would be ideal as well as:
Previous experience of working in a customer service role
Previous experience of working within a customer service environment within the manufacturing or similar industry
Experience of sales order processing
Knowledge of SAP & CRM systems
