Life as a Machine Maintenance Engineer
You will be a strong member of our Engineering team, responsible for the continuous upkeep and improvement of the site's facilities and machinery through planned and preventative maintenance programmes.
This role is vital to the efficiency, development and progress of the site; working with our wider teams, you will improve the facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and improve the overall reliability and the safety of the plant.
As part of our continued expansion, this opportunity has arisen for someone with good engineering knowledge to join our team in Aylesbury on a late shift (3pm – 11:30 pm)

As a Machine Engineer your mission will be to provide multi-skilled engineering and maintenance cover across all the operational functions to ensure the highest standards possible for production reliability, wastage and cost effectiveness.
Your role in detail:
* Provides breakdown and routine maintenance cover to ensure production continuation and minimised downtime.
* Diagnoses, fault-finds, monitors and assess ongoing machines and identifies any additional works required and complete work requests.
* Contributes towards the continuous improvement of processes and site services.
* Reports and communicates all maintenance issues effectively at all levels.
* Ensures quality and machines safety complying with all regulations at all times.
* Ensures all work undertaken is recorded and the record kept and made available for audit purposes.
We would really like to hear from you, if you have..
* A Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
* Experience of machine shop and site maintenance in a production manufacturing facility
* Strong understanding of health and safety on site
* Continuous Improvement knowledge
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work and communicate with people inside and outside the organisation
