Our Manufacturing Teams are responsible for taking the concepts created by our Research & Development and Marketing departments and transforming these into finished products, consistently and to industry-leading quality standards which ensures that the customer gets the very best experience of our products.
In this dynamic role, you will be tasked with investigating, developing, and implementing solutions to issues throughout the operational departments; as a Manufacturing Engineer, you will also be responsible for leading projects that contribute towards improving manufacturing efficiencies safely by utilising lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
We have grown an amazing, diverse team of more than 120 people between the head office and our Manufacturing & Logistics site, all passionate about our mission to deliver beautiful skin for life.
We'll be almost doubling in size this year and will soon be upscaling to a brand new innovation centre with one of the most technological skincare suited labs, large and impressive manufacturing rooms and a top efficient logistics site.
Life as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Our Manufacturing Engineering Manager will take the departmental lead at a strategically important site located in Aylesbury (from June 2022).
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will operate as part of a brand new Engineering function and will lead a team of three people, ensuring that plant equipment and maintenance systems are maintained, developed and improved within a lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement environment and culture.
The focus is safety first and as Engineering Manager you will champion and proactively promote this safe working ethos amongst your team and contractors.
You will also lead the preventative maintenance of a manufacturing and logistics site. Managing assets such as Blending vessels and mixers, filling lines and material handling equipment, you will ensure maximum uptime and liaise with logistics and manufacturing managers to support their output targets.

In more detail your role will include:

Implement a structured and robust preventative maintenance plan.

Management of the maintenance team to cover a busy factory and distribution centre ensuring minimal downtime.

Working with Manufacturing and Logistics Managers to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, you will implement CAPEX projects to support the growth of the business.

IQ OQ PQ equipment validations.
*
Developing the team to adopt a continuous improvement approach to problem solving.
