Production Labourer Bedford

Salaries available start from (£25,250 to £28,250) including shift premium. Once fully trained your salary can increase to between £29,016 to £31,808 per annum, including shift premium
Monday-Friday 6:00am – 3:30pm
Full on the job training is provided
A salary that increases with your experience
Overtime is also available in addition to your core hours. Overtime hours are paid at x 1.5 or x 2 of your day rate etc

We currently require several production Labourers upon a PERMANENT basis for a leading manufacturer based in the Kempston Hardwick area of Bedford.

This position offers the successful candidates the opportunity of working within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment for a UK wide leading manufacturer. We are keen to hear from Production operatives, general labourers, Forklift truck drivers (FLT) who have previously worked within a fast-paced production environment across any industry sector as the skills and experience will be well aligned to the position.

Production Labourer: (The Role)

The role for a Production Labourer is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and who enjoy work which is hands on.

Manually handling loads up to 25kg
The production of high-quality products operating production machinery
The quality checking of products for defects
Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S's housekeeping and environmental management
The operation of a range of machines as part of a multi-skilled team with training provided by the end client
Ensure areas are inspected / maintained in accordance with local Health & Safety Standards and work within Standard Safe Operating Procedures
PRODUCTION LABOURER ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment operating machinery is highly desirable
An excellent level of health and safety in the workplace awareness, capable of working in a safe and efficient manner
Must be a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and have a keen eye for detail
Must be able to work as part of a team and as an individual
FLT license (Desirable)
