UAT & QA Tester – NTP

Remote – WFH Role!

Randstad is proud to be an approved partner for the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) which was set up to close the attainment gap for pupils impacted by school closures owing to Covid-19. The Programme is designed to offer schools the opportunity to access discounted programmes of tuition through approved tuition partners.

Why am I telling you this? Because as part of this exciting partnering programme we have a unique opportunity to join our NTP IT team as a UAT & QA Tester.

The UAT & QA Tester will contribute and support the delivery of the development cycle of the NTP Platform, under the oversight of the Service Delivery Manager, in order to ensure project quality assurance is managed and controlled in alignment with overall project objectives.

As a UAT & QA Tester you will, amongst other things:

Ensuring that test scenarios and scripts are prepared in a structured way, prioritised to reflect business or technical priorities, and are approved by appropriate stakeholders
Designing & preparing test scripts for system functional testing, regression testing and UAT
Attending workshops comprising business and or technical representatives to cover test activities such as requirement verification and prioritisation, test scenario identification
Creating allocated test scripts, monitor test execution and ensure results are recorded.
Co-ordinating the re-testing of defects and issues
Preparing and maintain relevant test documentation, including test scripts & activity schedules
Preparing and maintaining test plans
Scheduling testing and organising with Domain leads
Organising and running User Acceptance testing
Input into RAID log
Liaising with end users and customers in relation to testing activitiesDo you have..

Demonstrable experience in the full project, testing and development life cycle from gathering requirements through to implementation.
Attention to detail and ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances and recommend improvements
Evidence of strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proven track record of engaging and managing multiple stakeholders;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to priorities, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities;
A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment.
QA qualification from leading organisation
