Mobile Vehicle Repair Technician / Multi skilled bodyshop technician – We currently have an opening for a skilled and experienced accident repair technician (panel beater, painter, strip fitter) to join our client working on a mobile basis.

You will be given your own brand-new Mercedes Sprinter van, which is kitted out to the highest standard, with compliant repair capsules with a self-sufficient power source with a mini PPG paint system and other equipment to enable you to complete all repairs on site at a customers home.

The Job: Mobile Vehicle Repair Technician / Mobile Bodyshop Technician

As part of a team of professional Mobile Repair Technicians you will be travelling around the local area completing repairs on customers' cars at their workplaces, homes, and approved locations.
All work is provided to you the day before, so you can plan your work and journey
Once on site with a customer, you will prepare your repair pod in which the vehicle will be placed and repaired.
You must also have experience in a body shop or accident repair environment working as a Paint/Panel + MET is essential.
Your role will involve stripping and refitting bodywork and trim (no mechanical), panel and body repairs, filler, dent pulling and gluing, prepping and painting to a very high standard,
You will generally be given one job a day, so once you are finished you can finish for the day!
As a Mobile Repair Technician, you will handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is always maintained.
You must also have experience in a body shop or accident repair environment working as a Paint/Panel + MET is essential.

You will do a 1 week induction when starting with our client to ensure you are up to date with company processes and procedures
Follow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident condition
Ensure that all jobs are completed to the highest standard

Job Experience Required: Mobile Vehicle Repair Technician

City & Guild Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop Repair
ATA Qualification would be an advantage
Previous Bodyshop Panel, paint and stripping and fitting
Strip and fit
Excellent customer service skills
