Are you an CAD Technician who's considering a route into Geospatial Engineering?
if this sounds like you, then we're recruiting for CAD Technicians to join an established and inovative Geomatics Team for a major construction contractor
You would be reporting into the Principal Digital Geospatial Engineer and working in close collaboration with Bid Winning and Geomatics Project teams to ensure that all aspects of Digital Engineering are appropriately considered and implemented throughout a Bid/Project(s) lifecycle.
Suitable candidates will be:
Be computer literate and have 3 years minimum
Be able to produce and manipulate 2D drawings
BE proficient in the use of CAD software i.e. LSS/Autodesk Civil 3D/ Trimble Business Centre
Must be able to generate and produce 3D Models using AutoCAD or similar software
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel software (pivot tables, lookups and other advanced data manipulation tools).
Must be able to read drawings, sections and specifications, and lead conversations describing issues with data and liaise with Architects/Engineers/Client Representatives.
Should have excellent problem-solving skills, with willingness to take responsibility for the ‘Digital Bid process’
3D Modelling (Scan to BIM)/ Verification.
