Duty Manager (Leisure Centre)

Chesham

£21,000 – £24,000 per annum

Do you have experience working at supervisory level within the leisure or hospitality sector? Have you got experience in successfully managing a team? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We are working with our client to recruit for an enthusiastic Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting with the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, overseeing health and safety, driving fantastic customer service, and supporting the team.

Key Responsibilities –

–        Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre ensuring the highest levels of customer service and safety are achieved. 

–        Lead and motivate a diverse team whilst fully embracing the company values

–        Focus on delivering high customer service standards

–        Communicate effectively (verbal, written and IT) 

–        Create an environment where colleagues can achieve their full potential 

–        Demonstrate exceptional time management and deadline compliance

–        Lead the operations team and have specific responsibility for management the quality management systems. 

–        Step up to the General Manager role in their absence. 

Key Requirements –

–        National Pool Lifeguard, First Aid at Work & Pool Plant Operators qualifications are desirable.

–        Have a proven track record in cost control and driving income in all areas of a business

–        Previous experience working at supervisor/management level within the leisure industry
