Our client operates within the sport and leisure industry and as part of their continuous development they wish to recruit a Junior Graphic Designer to become part of an accomplished in-house creative team working on one of Britain’s most established sporting marques.
The role will see you take responsibility for graphic design across product and packaging for a number of different brands within the company. This is an exciting opportunity for any designer who wants to take ownership of a project from concept generation through to mass production.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to apply their skills on a vast range of projects, organise and manage project workflow with multiple deadlines, and work efficiently as part of an experienced and driven team.
Working across some of the biggest product brands on the UK scene, the Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing designs, creating artwork assets and concepts across all areas of the business, ensuring all creative output consistently adheres to each brand’s identity.
Day to day, you will be working alongside and assisting the senior designer but you will also be a self-starter with initiative, capable of managing your own time.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to progress to the next level in their design career. Not only will you be involved in designing and art working across multiple channels, you will present finalised ideas and concepts to your colleagues and internal project managers. You will be a part of a small but experienced and driven team, where your creative input will be equally important to the company’s success.
Skills you will need to be considered:
* BA-level qualification in Graphic Design
* Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
* Originality and a strong visual sense
* Confidence to present and explain ideas to project managers and colleagues
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* The ability to work with a wide range of media, online and in print
* The ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
* The ability to carry projects from concept to final sign-off stage
