We're recruiting a Social Values Officer to join an established business services organisation based in Milton Keynes. This is a hybrid role, but regular travel around the UK (particularly London) will be required. The salary for this position is up to £25,000 and you'll be entitled to the KPI scheme after 6-months.
In this role, you'll be helping to deliver positive economic, social, and environmental impacts of our client's contracts by upskilling local job seekers and getting individuals back into work. You'll be working closely with Business Managers and Directors to support a local supply chain and ensure all employment opportunities are broadcast to the community.
Role/Responsibilities:
The Social Value Officer’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Planning and facilitating employability workshops for different community groups
Building relationships with key stakeholders including customers and suppliers
Attending schools & colleges careers events
Tracking outcomes of Social Value activities on a Social Value Action Plan
Data collection and analysis eg. Monitoring the number of local workers in placements within the Council
Volunteering in the community You will be provided with a laptop and phone and your work mileage will be paid for.

Good level of analytical skills
Good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office365
Strong problem solving and organisational skills
Highly motivated and target focussed
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Experience with telecommunications equipment
Full Clean Driving Licence desirable
