Mechanical Supervisor required urgently in Milton Keynes  

Our client is a commercial multi trade contractor with internal; building, mechanical, electrical & facilities departments.

This role is for the lead mechanical man on site to carry out the pipework installation and manage any other mechanical sub-contractors. The person will have the support of the mechanical project manager.

The applicant must be able to communicate with the site manager and other trades on site about sequence, requirements, work planning & interfaces. They must have a flexible attitude and able to understand the concerns and needs of other trades. The applicant shall provide weekly materials lists to the project manager for ordering.

This position will have the opportunity to grow a team of installers and apprentices to carry out the site installation works. The projects are mainly small to medium size commercial with some mechanical plant replacement works. The role will be varied and offer opportunities to work on a wide range of different projects. Job Requirements:

At least 5 Years’ experience in this role at a major M&E contractor.

Applicant should have completed apprenticeship with NVQ level 3 in Heating and Ventilating or equivalent.

Must have gold level engineering services skills card (CSCS Card)

SSSTS / SMSTS

Will be responsible for management of resources levels on site to ensure that the project is completed in line with the program.

Welding ability would be advantage (mild and or stainless steel) but not essential.

Gas safe would be an advantage but not essential.

Experience installing, heating, chilled water, above ground drainage and domestic water services
