Management Accountant
Salary: c£55k
Hybrid working
Permanent role

Badenoch & Clark are excited to be partnered with a FMCG company who has seen continuous growth throughout the pandemic and show no signs of stopping any time soon.

Management accountant responsibilities:
* Day-to-day financial transactions for the Irish subsidiary
* Producing monthly management accounts and all reconciliations
* Preparing and providing information for the audit of the Statutory financial statements

Management accountant main tasks:
* Ensure accurate and timely production of the month-end management accounts for the Irish subsidiary
* Produce Variance reports and analysis of the results
* Liaise with department heads to follow up on variances and obtain explanations
* Prepare monthly the GL reconciliations
* Managing stock – ensuring all inter-company charges are made and that stock listings reconciled and reviewed for obsolescence/loss
* Produce Cost Centre analysis
* Focal point with the leasing company – for customer financing of capital equipment
* Responsible for all the VAT, Sugar tax and statutory submissions for the Irish subsidiary
* Ensure compliance with UK accounting and tax regulations and legislation
* Develop, maintain, and improve systems and procedures to drive efficiencies in reporting and processing
* Manage the planning, forecasting (quarterly) and budgeting exercises for the Irish subsidiary

Requirements for the Management accountant:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA (Or equivalent)
* Advanced Excel skills
* Knowledge of accounting software packages e.g., SAP, NetSuite, SAGE, SAP
* Experience with reporting packages – e.g., Solution 7
* Preferable experience as Branch Accountant
