The Team
NAPA was introduced to Europe in 2019 and offers an exciting opportunity to bring something unique to the European Aftermarket. There is already an established and experienced NAPA team in place and through your passion for writing and content creation, you will provide valuable assets to enable the expansion of NAPA in European markets.
The Role
In this newly created role, you will support the Brand Manager with the development and implementation of technical, brand, and press content across European market segments. You will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders across the group to plan, create and publish engaging content across multiple platforms, to reinforce NAPA’s European reputation as a global expert in automotive parts and distribution.
Main responsibilities
* Support the Brand Manager with content planning and implementation.
* Liaise with product, technical, assets and design teams to sculpt informative, technical content.
* Liaise with customers and end-users to develop engaging customer testimonials and community stories.
* Craft detailed and engaging copy to build trust, familiarity, and excitement in the NAPA brand.
* Publish NAPA content for internal and external audiences via DAM, email, website and social channels.
* Build strong, cross-functional relationships across the group to ensure a collaborative approach to European projects.
* Liaise with European NAPA Racing and affiliate Motorsport programs to build relations, monitor progress and maximise brand exposure through content creation.
* Monitor industry news and topics.
* Edit, proofread and fact-check copy before publication.
* Optimise and maintain website copy and content.
* Maintain content and activity calendar.
* Report on marketing activity and campaigns.
* Collate content for internal and external presentations.
* Develop and maintain tone of voice and messaging for the brand.
* Act as brand guardian for NAPA in Europe.
Experience
* Experience or education in content creation or copywriting is essential.
* Technical copywriting experience preferred.
* Experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud software, primarily Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro and Illustrator is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of social content and channels.
* Understanding of SEO principles.
* Understanding of marketing principles.
* A keen interest in brand or content marketing.
* Automotive Aftermarket experience preferred.
* Knowledge of additional European languages advantageous.
