Life as a Quality Assurance Manager
With a presence in over 17 countries, Medik8 is continuing to further dominate international markets. Upholding a culture of quality and continuous improvement across our Manufacturing & Logistics facility will be key to driving customer satisfaction, as we continuously look into our practices to support this rapid growth.
Your purpose will be to devise and own the most diligent investigational routes and support the teams with relevant, accurate and reliable information so that we can produce elegant and effective solutions that maintain our high standards.
With a background in manufacturing and science, understanding the principles of formulations and blending processes will be critical to identify any potential issue and act accordingly to ensure we provide our customers with the best products on the market.

You will work in our brand new Innovation Centre where we will have the most technological skincare suited labs, large and impressive manufacturing rooms hosting the best machines and a top efficient logistics site. This will be our hub where the best synergies can be created; where we can implement new processes and technology to drive innovation and achieve incredible levels of output.
In this role you will also ensure that best business processes, GMP and FDA standards are coordinated across Medik8’s development and manufacturing site, in order to fully support the implementation of high quality standards.
You will work alongside our friendly R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Logistics teams and you will manage five quality controllers.

In more detail your role will include:

Enhances customer satisfaction by identifying improvements to quality procedures, reducing product failures and driving supplier control.

Investigates all complaints/issues that might impact our customers' high quality experience.
*
Develops corrective and preventive actions in response to the detected issues to immediately upgrade quality levels and avoid future occurrences.
*
Builds strong relationships with wider teams to find solutions and answers, always suggesting more efficient and quality driven ways of working.
*
Actively highlights potential risks, presents best practices and supports quality projects to achieve highest quality standards.
*
Leads quality control and validation of processes and products.
*
Monitors and presents reports on quality metrics to the leadership.
We would really like to hear from you, if you have..
*
A BSc (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry
*
3+ years experience in a similar role in manufacturing industry
*
A proven working knowledge of ISO 22716 (Cosmetics GMP) and FDA
*
Excellent problem solving skills – this is crucial to deal with potential unprecedented scenarios effectively.
*
Adaptability with influential skills – As your job is to find out ways that make the team’s work easier and faster.
