We are looking for a part time Receptionist on a temporary to permanent basis, for our client based in Newport Pagnell.
Position: Part time Receptionist
Hours: Thursdays 1:30 – 6:30pm plus 2 hours of admin (7 hours per week)
Salary: £9
The job will involve…
– Booking appointments for private patients with the required professional
– Taking payments over the phone and on the desk
– General administrative duties – scanning / filing / email correspondance
– Imputing and updating customer records and information on the inhouse system
– Supporting colleagues to maintain an efficient and friendly team atmosphere
– Dealing with general enquiries from patients and visitors in a helpful and efficient manner
– Greeting patients, and visitors at Reception in a polite and friendly manner
– Answering the telephone promptly and courteously
– Making appointments using the computerised appointments system
The Person will…
– Have previous experience within the medical field (desirable)
– Previous customer service / reception experience
– Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Have the ability to problem solve
– Have the ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
– Have a keen eye for detail
– Be able to work to strict deadlines but also have a flexible approach to their work
– Be a strong administrator
– Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
