About The Role

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

EKFB are recruiting for a Materials Buyer to join the team in our North Chilterns Area.

This candidate will be allocated and assist in processing requisitions that are allocated from Causeway. You'll need to attend a daily review of these requisitions to be processed as part of a team and assist in dividing the workload accordingly.

We expect you to be able to keep the records auditable and up to date and you will also be required to assist in the confirmation of products and suppliers and liaising with site teams through this process.

You will need to support the suppliers with any queries they may have and advise the site teams on their enquiries also. You will respond accurately to finance teams and confirm as well as amend orders to enable payment of invoices.

Experience of using standard computer software packages and making external phone calls
A well organised individual with the willingness to learn
Administration background is needed
Great interpersonal skills and communication skills
The ability to form and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders
