Aviation Safety Officer
Nayr Recruitment are currently looking for an Aviation Safety Officer based at High Wycombe for a one year contract within the defence sector.

Minimum Requirement:
* This is a single task to provide independent assurance of the HQ 1Gp Air System Safety Case (ASSC) common claims format. MAA RA1205 requires independent assessment e.g. 3rd Party Assurance, of an ASSC. Each 1 Gp platform uses the same 1Gp common claims format for their ASSC. The requirement is to confirm that the methodology of this generic format, and the process for internal evaluation and assessment of the ASSC through the Platform Safety Group and the Air System Safety Working Group, is RA compliant and fit for purpose.
* As a Systems Safety Environmental Officer your main responsibilities would be:
* To have an understanding and ability to interpret and apply health, safety, environmental legislation and policy to the project
* Operation and co-ordination of the work within established management systems, ensuring it complies with current legislation policy, instructions and status of the project.
* An understanding of the principles and techniques of the system, safety and environmental management and be able to apply them under supervision.
* Should be able to undertake and develop, basic assessment and analysis of safety and environmental risk, safety and environmental cases, and safety environmental requirements in specification changes to the SMS/EMS to ensure it is current.
* An understanding of the risk associated within the work they manage should be shared within the stakeholder community of the Project.
* To review Air System’s safety cases
You’ll have relevant experience in:
* Experience in the Air Safety environment.
* Experience of working with Air System Safety Cases.
