Junior Business Systems Analyst
We are currently looking for a Junior Business Systems Analyst to join our busy team!
Location: Milton Keynes (hybrid working)
Salary: £25k – £30k + profit share, contributory pension, medical benefits, life assurance & flexible holiday.

As a Business Systems Analyst, your role is to ensure that our products have the capability to meet the needs and expectations of our customers. This requires you to support internal and external stakeholders throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. Your responsibility is to design and document system changes in line with customer requirements and to support the delivery of these system changes to ensure that customer expectations are successfully met.
We operate in a sector that is undergoing rapid change, with organisations aiming to reduce their carbon emissions and electricity suppliers seeking more innovative solutions for their customers. Your role at a glance:
Define and document precise business requirements so that product development work can be scoped, specified in detail and conveyed to interested stakeholders
Lead reviews of deliverables with customer stakeholders and senior management decision-makers
Create functional design documentation to enable product development to be defined
Support product development throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
Create product documentation and deliver training to internal and external stakeholders
Support customers during the execution of User Acceptance Testing
Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, respond to queries and provide analysis within agreed timescales
Identify and manage risks and issues that impact the business outcomes intended by the product development
About You:
Our ideal candidate will be degree educated and have some experience in a software development environment. You will have strong communication skills, including experience of giving presentations and writing documentation. Some exposure to industry standard modelling, specification and design techniques in a customer facing role will be an advantage. Any prior experience in the Energy industry will also be valuable.
