Estimator

Job Type: Permanent

Full Time: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (some flexibility)

Salary: Between £30,000 to £40,000 DOE

Location: Wavendon, Milton Keynes MK17

Requirements:
– Price work in a timely manner with all supporting documents
– Gaining quotes from suppliers and contractors within time-frames
– Bringing new ideas to improve the cost estimating process
– Monitoring costs on projects to help improve the estimation process
– Preparing progress reports on current works, working closely with other internal teas
– Supporting in bids and tenders
– Working on hard and soft landscaping projects worth over £2Million

Successful Candidates:
– Previous experience as an Estimator
– Strong Communication Skills
– Highly organised and numerate
– Familiar with Bill Quantities and Schedule of Rates
– Handling month end commercial tasks
– Experience using estimating packages
– Proficient MS Office skills
– Background within landscaping or construction
