Civils Estimator
Buckinghamshire
£65k plus package and bonus

We are recruiting a Civils Estimator for a multi-disciplinary main contractor who turned over £670m in 2021 and are predicted to grow to £750m by the end of 2022, with around half of next years revenue already secured. The business is employee-owned and operate across several environments within construction including civil engineering which accounts for approximately £150m of their current turnover.

The successful candidate will get the opportunity to join a successful work winning team based in at our clients’ offices in Buckinghamshire. You will be someone looking to make the next step in your career and working toward becoming a Senior Estimator. You will ideally have 2-5 years' experience working on site and then a further 3-5 years of working as an Estimator.

Our client is ideally looking to speak to candidates who have worked for a regional Civils contractor with self-delivery capability, who is familiar with building up rates from 1st principle but wants to work on larger and more complex schemes. Alternatively, they are also keen to speak to candidates from a Tier 1 Civils background who want a more involving and rewarding career with the added responsibility that would come hand in hand when working for an employee-owned company.

On offer:
• £50,000 – £65,000 basic salary (dependent on candidate experience)

Criteria:
• Regional or tier one background
• Civils project experience
• Candy estimating software (desirable)
• Site experience
• 3-5 years Estimating experience
• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree (desirable)
• Competent using MS Excel and Word
