Field Service Engineer – Plant / Hydraulics / Electrical
A leading provider of solutions for commercial and passenger vehicles are now looking for a Field Service Engineer to cover the Aylesbury and local surrounding region.
Based from home, the successful Field Service Engineer will be responsible for carrying out heavy duty repair and servicing of equipment on both customer sites and occasionally roadside.
The successful candidate will likely be qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ level in mechanical engineering or plant machinery but more importantly be able to demonstrate previous experience of working on the service, repair and maintenance of heavy vehicle plant / machinery, forklift trucks, agricultural machinery or similar; demonstrate an understanding of hydraulics; basic fault finding on 12 & 24 volt electrical systems and be able perform basic MIG/ARC welding tasks.
This position is offering a basic salary in the region of £27,000 – £35,000 + overtime + on call allowances with a realistic OTE in the region of £40k – £50k together with additional benefits to include Company Van, mobile phone, healthcare, pension and 20 days holiday + bank.
