Internal Sales – £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience – office based, Milton Keynes
We're looking for a self-motivated, resilient, and naturally inquisitive Internal Sales Executive to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Milton Keynes.
They are a global business, supplying into a variety of industries; automotive, manufacturing and engineering to name a few.
The role of Internal Sales Executive has been newly created and will support a small team of 3 field-based Sales Managers in the south. You will help to qualify and generate business leads. This is a proactive, pre-sales role that will involve research into prospective clients and appointment setting.
As Internal Sales Executive your responsibilities will include:
Internal business development for the south of England & Wales
Researching and calling companies to generate new business and closing for an appointment
Some leads will be generated through websites, but there is a big emphasis on self-generated leads, and you will have a large existing database of contacts
Working with external sales force in a territory providing sales support, appointments, customer care and lead generation
Attending strategy meetings with the Director and Area Managers
What are we looking for?
Ideally some previous experience in internal sales
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with potential clients over the phone
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Engaging and ambitious personality
