Production Planner, High Wycombe, £35,000pa – £38,000pa plus benefits:
A leading high-tech manufacturer based in the High Wycombe is looking to recruit a Production Planner to join a busy Supply Chain Division. Your remit will be to plan manufacturing-based projects ensuring that the buyers are purchasing components and parts in order to meet manufacturing targets and deadlines. The role is incredibly important and provides a key planning and scheduling service within the business.
The Production Planner’s key duties are:
* Planning Configured and Custom Projects
* Responsible for maintaining the MPS and MRP for projects, products and service.
* Loading and managing resource capacity
* Communication and liaison across all business functions
* Management of buying information / Value Engineering
* Maintenance of delivery date information received from buyer
* Managing lead-times liaising with buyer and operations manager
* Abide by all the company Health and Safety guidelines at all times
* Carry out any additional tasks that may be reasonably requested by the company
About You
The Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
* Production Planning certification or qualification
* Proficient in handling supplier contracts, materials & resource planning, negotiation and supplier relationship management.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite including Outlook
* Experience of managing supplier relationships
* Planning & process improvement skills
