Our client based between Aylesbury and Thame are looking for a Training Manager due to continued growth!!
You will need to be a dynamic and strong Team Leader and Manager, who will take charge and run the company's existing Training Centre(s), with a view to expanding services with a real emphasis on the design of "e learning packages"
The purpose of the role is to plan and manage all training activities, both for their customers and staff. Course design and session planning.
Planning/updating delivering (as required) a range of industry and health and safety related training courses.
Monitor staff competencies and training, in order to maintain skills and knowledge.
May be required to travel between depots within the group.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Essential:
Previous experience managing a training team/department. Experience in developing and implementing training programmes.
Excellent IT skills, including knowledge/experience in development of e learning packages
Strong leader, with a vision of driving and taking the training department forward
Good organisation, planning and management skills.
Able to track performance of training programmes and recommend strategies for improvement. Create training materials and programmes to address business needs (internal and external)
Working with employees, HR and management to ensure achievement of training objectives
Hold a formal training/instructional qualification.
Desirable skills would be:
Management qualification (e.g. NVQ, ILM in management)
