Our client is seeking a candidate with indirect buying experience to join their Project Buyers team, at their Head Office in the heart of Milton Keynes on a 3-month fix term contract. There is a likely-hood of this being extended or made permanent.

The ideal candidate will be a focused and driven individual who is happy to take instruction and follow direction.

An individual with 1 – 2 years indirect buying experience would suffice.

NOT with a manufacturing or FMCG background.

Annual salary equivalent: £30,000 – £45,000
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
With hybrid working from home availability

Supporting the senior category manager with all procurement related tasks, you will:

Undertake general data capture and analysis (Excel, Power BI)
Drafting reports and presentations as directed
Work with the legal team to prepare contract drafts
Expedite the internal and external contract signature process
Ensure compliance with all authorisation levels
Supply due diligence, competency, safety, quality and financial checks
Market research
Drafting RFx documentation with assistance from the Senior Category ManagerDesirable experience:

An engineering or technical qualification – HNC or above
Experience of an ERP system
Basic legal contract knowledge
CIPS Level 3 (Ideal, not essential)
Excellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
