The O365 Systems Administrator is a hands-on technical role responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the collaboration and productivity environment, as well as other key operational systems. Reporting to the Senior Technology Officer, the Systems Administrator delivers subject matter expertise of MS Office 365 with emphasis in migration, automation, management and support and has strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, PowerApps, Power Automation, MS Teams, Sharepoint Online, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication and related technologies. The Systems Administrator is also called upon for their broad technical knowledge base to assist in the migration, rollout and transition of other Cloud or SaaS based systems, working in close partnership with our operational teams and other information technology disciplines.
Responsibilities
Administer and support the O365 environments in all aspects including provisioning, authentication, licensing, security and policies
Assist with data migration activities of other key operational systems driven from new and evolving business requirements e.g. care documentation (electronic health record), incident/quality management, medication administration, etc.
Comply with all IT security and privacy policies and procedures
Produce technical and end-user documentation, as required
Devise and deploy new automation in the administration of the environment Desired Skills / Experience
3-5 years experience working in a Microsoft biased systems support / systems admin environment
Experience in systems administration of the following application environments: Azure Active Directory, PowerApps, Power Automation, MS Teams, Sharepoint Online, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication and related technologies
Microsoft based certification towards 'MCSE Core Infrastructure' and / or 'MCSE Productivity' i.e. Azure Administrator Associate And / Or Security Administrator Associate
Excellent communication and support skills, specifically adept at working with users of a low level of IT literacy
A desire to learn and continually develop knowledge
Experience in supporting the continuous improvement of IT service delivery, using including delivery and compliance frameworks such as ITIL, SOX, security and privacy
Competence in Project Management Additional Information:
