Infrastructure Engineer

This is a brand new opportunity to work for a proactive and high growth Microsoft Partner outsourcing bespoke cloud, infrastructure and desktop services. They provide offerings to public and commercial enterprise clients to help them go through their cloud and digital transformations. Their main goals have always been directly aligned with employee satisfaction and career development within their business. The Role

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be apart of a dynamic and forward-thinking Managed Service Team dealing with any P1 incidences, acting as an escalation point and the monitoring of client's infrastructure ecosystems. Within the team you'll be collaborating with like-minded Engineers, to question, work together and find solutions for complex and challenging situations that need to be resolved.  

What a day looks like…

To provide a high class and professional level of technical support and guidance with colleagues and external stakeholders across multi-vendor platforms and pieces of documentation. 

To monitor and action, all queries escalated through the ticket system
Provide guidance and support to other colleagues within the Managed Service Practice 
Building up a rapport with senior stakeholders and daily monitoring of client’s servers, cloud and network infrastructure eco-systems
Reporting to either the Infrastructure Team Leader or Head of Infrastructure on a daily or weekly bases
Requirements

Being able to resolve and demonstrate logical solutions from escalated tickets which need to be actioned either internally or for clients
Hands-on experience working across a broad array of technological platforms (Microsoft, VMware, CISCO etc) 
Either ITIL certified or knowledge and understanding around the ITIL framework and methodology
Has a valid multi vendor certification(s) or has a passion for becoming certified and wants to bolster their skillset
Can demonstrate solid soft skills and the ability to work within a well established Managed Service Team all aspiring to one goal
