Summary of Position:
Working closely with UK QHSE manager to develop, manage, monitor, maintain and review all aspects of QHSE integrated
management system via means of administrative, auditing & inspection tasks that positively influence the QHSE systems to
provide value to the organisation. Providing a direct liaison between personnel & QHSE regarding all QHSE related issues,
queries & guidance requirements, across all levels of the business. QHSE administrator will be tasked with reporting NCR’ within
the IPW system & upkeep of QHSE IMS document systems (including updating records within associated software), including sustainability based reporting and initiatives.
Position responsibilities:
* Assisting the QHSE manager in administration and maintaining QHSE integrated management system
* Undertaking & assisting in developing risk assessments & safe systems of work
* Maintaining company risk profile & updating accordingly
* Administering safety related assessments e.g. COSHH, DSE, HAV, PUWER etc.
* Developing & documenting SOP’s with UK departments
* Maintaining approved supplier register documentation & updating with new supplier details/records
* Compiling quarterly sustainability reporting metrics for UK QHSE systems
* Undertaking QHSE inductions for new starters
* Identify and report issues (Safety, Environmental and Quality) through NCR reporting process.
* Supporting QHSE Manager related investigations (quality NCR’s, accident, incidents & near miss events)
* Documenting statutory inspection of tools, machinery and electrical tools acc. legislations and other requirements.
* Keeping all QHSE notice boards up to date with key information, documentation & statistics
Educstion & Experience
* Experience & working knowledge QHSE systems.
* NEBOSH Certificate (or working towards) with a minimum of IOSH Managing safely
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience of working within a combined QHSE department (preferred).
* Working knowledge of relevant legislation.
* Internal auditor trained (ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001) or experience in undertaking internal audits.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation related to Caljan organizational activities.
* UK Driving license.
