Sales Hire Desk Co Ordinator

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Sales Hire Desk Co Ordinator based in Stowe, Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate’s salary will be £28,000 – £32,000 dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will spend their day working within our busy hire desk dealing directly with our external and internal customers.

The role is very sales focused and you would also be responsible for following up on quotations to see if successful or not and reasons behind this. Ace plant is also very focused on being able to offer the customer what they want, when they want it and at the right price. In order to maintain this element of the business the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a can-do attitude. 

Core working hours for this position are from 8am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. However, flexibility will be expected with regard to hours of work to suit the needs of the business and team.

Able to work with minimum supervision.
Plant hire or Fleet experience would be beneficial.
Role Responsibilities

Building lasting relationships with repeat customers.
Taking on and off hire calls.
Organise delivery utilising both internal and external transport services.
Identification of customer’s needs.
Raising contracts on a bespoke IT system.
Organised, able to prioritise workload.
To routinely speak to customers to update them and progress work to conclusion and satisfaction.
To communication efficiently and effectively by telephone and email.
To open, process and close jobs, and to keep our hire fleet management system up to date.
Resolve customer queries and complaints.
Ensure ongoing compliance with all statutory requirements such as Health & Safety and environmental issues.
