Acorn Recruitment is seeking Warehouse Operatives for their client based in Milton Keynes at a state of the art distribution centre. The shift is 6pm to 2am Sunday to Thursday and salary is £20,300 (£10.41 per hour). This is a permanent position.

You will be joining the business at the current site, but our client are having a new site being built in Milton Keynes. This new site uses VNA (narrow aisle system) so it is important that you don't mind working at height. The new site is environmentally friendly, and built around employee wellbeing, with moss walls, a roof garden for colleagues to use, gym equipment in the car park, and tennis courts.

There are some specific skills and attitudes we are looking for from suitable candidates:

* Ability to load and unload products whilst maintaining their pristine condition
* Good command of English, speaking, writing and reading
* Is a team player with a positive outlook
* Has a strong eye for detail
* Good numeracy skills
* Is happy working in a fast-paced targeted environment
* Has experience of Manual Handling Equipment

Duties:

* Check incoming stock deliveries and put away in appropriate area
* Pick goods for outgoing orders and placing in loading bay
* Prepare for and carry out regular stock takes in accordance with company procedures
* Operate Manual Handling Equipment
* Willingly undertake general housekeeping
* Assist with the loading of company vehicles, ensuring loads are safe and secure
* Assist with customers collecting goods in a professional manner
