Starting electrician salary £35k pa increasing to £40k pa upon successful qualification to supervisor.
We are excited to be offering a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician to join our electrical contracting business with offices based in Northamptonshire. The role provides in house and external training offering progression to Electrical Supervisor.
* This position is for a driven electrician who is seeking a career path and is keen to focus on their professional development and expand their skill set within a team environment.
* To succeed in this role, you will need a positive, professional, and versatile attitude at all times in a constantly changing and continuously improving environment.
* The role is primarily site based, with home and office working from time to time.
* The on the job 18 month (approx.) training program will begin on a practical level, working within each practical aspect of the business including new build installs, remedial work in occupied homes, fault finding, testing, door entry systems, EV charging units, security alarms, compound set ups.
* With a solid understanding and competency demonstrated within each practical area, training will incorporate supervisory elements of the role and you will begin to support in carrying out duties such as site inspections, project compliance checks, compiling safety certificates, ordering of materials, managing labour, delivering Toolbox Talks, liaising with clients, pricing jobs and projects, auditing project documentation and more.
* This training will be incorporated into your daily practical work offering the opportunity to obtain a diverse skill set and enabling you to become proficiently multi skilled.
* The company will offer the successful candidate the SSSTS (Site Supervisory Safety Training Scheme) qualification, enabling them to meet the ECS black managers card criteria.
Locations covered: Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire
Required Driving License: Full & Clean
Required Qualifications: Hold a valid ECS Gold Card
Hours: 40 hours a week Mon-Friday + on call rota
