Technical Manager (Film Industry)

£45,000 – £55,000 + Company Benefits + 33 Days Holiday

Are you a Technical Manager with a background in broadcast, live events or film looking to lead a small team and be the go-to expert in your field? Would you like to work for a market leading business who are constantly growing and investing in the latest technologies?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a thriving remote production and film equipment rental house. They supply specialist equipment to the film and TV production industry worldwide – this is the perfect time to join their small but rapidly growing business, as they continue to succeed and expand year on year.

You will be responsible for looking after the Kit Room team, building and testing AV equipment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing remote technical support to the Field Engineers.

This role would suit a Technical Manager with a broad understanding of film technology such as DIT, Video Assist, RF and VFX equipment. An awareness of software such as QTake, Pomfort's Livegrade and Silverstack, Adobe packages and AVID, would be beneficial, as well as a thorough grasp of database and logistical software.

The Role:
* Managing the Kit Room team
* Building & testing AV equipment
* Troubleshooting hardware & software

The Person:
* Background in broadcast, live events or film
* Broad understanding of film technology
* Awareness of software
