We’re excited to be recruiting on behalf of the Bedfordshire Police and bring to you this fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to play their part in helping them protect people and fight crime.
The role:
We’re looking for new recruits to become Radio Agents working at Bedfordshire Police’s HQ to carry out the effective management of 999 calls and the deployment of police resources to emergency incidents.
The post holder will be required to work variable shifts, which may include 24-hour cover, 7 days per week. You’ll be working on a ‘4 on, 4 off’ shift pattern working 2 days, then 2 nights, then 4 days off. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Police Vetting Procedure.
Although the post holder will not be required to travel around the county as part of their day-to-day role; they may occasionally need to travel between sites across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire to ensure business continuity, and to attend meetings or training.
