Technical Author – Buckingham (Remote after training) – £30k – 40k Salary DOE – plus great benefits package

Our client, a software business specialising in Automotive and Motorsport, are looking for a Technical Author to join their team. The role will/can be based fully remote, but training in their offices in Buckingham is essential.

You will join a very successful global organisation who design, manufacture and support all their own products. They have gone from strength to strength and now supply 100+ countries either directly to the customer or via a network of distributors.

Our clients software’s product knowledgebase has grown to over 3,000 online pages with more than 20k customer visits each month! The purpose of this role is to increase customers product knowledge, improve user’s experience whilst reducing the volume of calls and emails to their support team.

Job role:

Creating new, interactive, and informative content on the site as well as the maintenance and improvement of existing content
Skills/attributes required for the role:

Experience creating user manuals or learning content that turns technically complex solutions into something that customers can follow and understand
Interest in the automotive or motorsport industry
