HR Advisor – Full-Time Permanent Contract
Location: Milton Keynes/Bromsgrove
Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 per annum

Could you be our new HR Advisor?
Due to business growth, we are currently recruiting for a permanent HR Advisor with Employee Relations experience and a passion for developing their career within HR, to be based at one of our hubs either in Milton Keynes or Bromsgrove, on a hybrid working basis. Occasional UK wide travel and overnight stay may be required (subject to covid-19 restrictions).
This role will be an integral part of an established but growing HR function and will provide an exciting and challenging role. The role will largely be working with the Group’s residential companies and you will be responsible for providing support to managers on a range of Employee Relations matters as well as general HR advice.

Role Details
Key responsibilities
* To support the HR Business Partner with managing Employee Relations cases, including investigations, grievances and disciplinaries
* Support Line Managers in the delivery of processes involving company restructures, change management and other organisation/staff matters as required
* Take a key role in the Company’s Sickness Absence Management strategy
* Manage employee welfare matters, such as maternity leave, flexible working requests, occupational health referrals, and attendance and performance management
* Assist the HR Business Partner in completing due diligence for HR files
* Review and update HR policies and procedures as required
* Manage HR projects effectively, delivering on key metrics
* Ensure security and strict confidentiality of all records and work undertaken
* Communicate effectively to all stakeholders, internal and external to the Group
* Plan and prioritise workload to ensure Service Level Agreements are met
The ideal candidate must have the following:
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* Ability to manage a high volume workload
* Ability to manage change and conflicting priorities effectively
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage own workload and work independently
* Able to adapt your approach to suit the unique needs of key stakeholders
* Experience working with the full Microsoft Office suite
* Unrestricted access to own car
The following attributes are desirable but not essential:
* Experience of working within a multi-site national role
* Previous experience of working within a HR department
* CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualification or working towards
* Previous HR experience in managing Employee Relations cases
