Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Purchasing Assistant to join their Logistics Team.
Key responsibilities include processing and placement of purchase orders, monitoring delivery and shipping information, and updating order status on internal and suppliers’ systems. Communication with suppliers and other departments is an important part of the role.
To apply you must have experience of working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. You will also have excellent organisation and time management skills and possess an accurate and methodical approach to your work.
You will be an excellent team player and a confident communicator, whether it be in person, via telephone or email. Experience of working in an administrative role or supply chain role is highly desirable.
