The person:
You must have experience working in nuclear or other high-hazard industry. Proven ability to work with effectively with multi-disciplinary business functions (e.g. Operations, Engineering and Projects, Maintenance) at all levels of an organisation (from Senior Management to workface operatives) and interact with external stakeholders (e.g. Regulators) while possessing the ability to understand complex technical information and analysis
The role:
The role of the Safety Case Manager is to work on behalf of the Safety Case Owner to provide advice to the wider business on the requirements of the safety case. They are expected to have a detailed knowledge of the assessments of radiological, chemotoxic and criticality hazards within their areas of responsibility, and the claims on engineered safety systems and operational controls made within them. They are responsible for ensuring that safety assessments are delivered, implemented, adopted and maintained as required to support modifications and the requirements of the arrangements. They are responsible for maintaining the health of the safety cases within their area of responsibility, and understanding the risk profile for these areas.
Location:
The role will be based at our Capenhurst Site near Chester. We offer free parking and there is a train station a few metres away from site with frequent trains to Chester or the Wirral
