LGV /HGV technician

Salary: £15.80ph per hour, plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break

Location: Amersham

At Veolia our LGV technicians are responsible for conducting repairs and maintenance on Veolia fleet and contractor vehicles. By joining Veolia as a LVG/HGV Technician you are playing your part in helping us to combat climate change.

What will you be doing?

Conduct repairs and maintenance on Veolia fleet and contractor vehicles.
Run diagnostics on vehicles.
Hydraulic, electrics, pneumatics diagnostics and repairs on the Veolia Fleet of Vehicles.
Undertake other work as instructed by the Workshop Management Team.
Carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations.
Conduct roadside repairs when required.

What are we looking for?

City & Guilds Level 3 vehicle qualification in HGV mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering qualification.
Experience working on HGV vehicles.
Able to work as part of a team and individual
Good customer service skills.
Desirable: HGV licence RCV experience
