The Role – Geography Teacher – High Wycombe

Located on the outskirts of High Wycombe, this 'Good' Ofsted rated secondary school is looking for a Geography Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 to start as soon as possible. Joining a supportive and collaborative teaching team you will have the benefit of working closely with a well known Head teacher who's come from one of the leading Grammar schools in Buckinghamshire. This is a key role in the school and a great opportunity for teachers looking to really get involved and provide a continuous and supportive teaching experience for these pupils. The school offers a staff gym, good pay rates and career opportunities. It isn't without it's challenges with behaviour and attendance both being key area's to address. Pupils come from a variety of backgrounds and large catchment area, the SEN team work closely to provide consistent and open approaches to behaviour.

The successful candidate for this Geography Teacher will have held full teaching responsibilities
Have a positive attitude and a calm classroom presence
Subject knowledge and passion for Geography, a confident approach with good behaviour management
Ability to engage and inspire with lessons that move quick and evoke excitement
