We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Human Resources team as a Reward Specialist. The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Reward by managing the administration of all company reward, benefit and compensation elements and in the delivery of the reward strategy.
Compensation
Conduct benchmarking for roles or groups of roles, as defined, and provide total reward statements as requested
Coordinate the annual pay review
Keep the operational pay structure up to date with correct job titles and pay elements/rates
Create and maintain the monthly salary changes report and provide related ad-hoc pay or pay change reports / management information as requiredBonus, Commission and incentive schemes
Lead the commission scheme submission processes and payment administration
Contribute to the drafting of bonus and commission scheme rules, both regular and ad-hoc/new schemes
Create, check and issue bonus eligibility and payment confirmation letters
Coordinate the retail voucher reward processes, including distribution and related purchase ordersPensions
Serve as the key coordinator for the company pension scheme(s) including processing new joiners, opt outs/ceases, keeping related databases up to date, liaise with pension providers, and being the first point of contact for pension queries
Support any annual pension projects such as necessary statutory consultations, updating of auto-enrolment literature, and statutory changes in contribution levels
On board new pension schemes and take on related scheme coordinationWe welcome applications from candidates with any of the following skills or attributes: Reward, benefits, compensation, pensions, commission, bonus, pay, recognition, strategy
Benefits (including company car benefit)
Coordinate the annual risk benefits renewals for life, medical, income protection and the EAP scheme, including making related recommendations and costings
Develop and maintain accurate benefits eligibility data in line with the prevailing systems
Ensure all benefit documentation is relevant, compliant and fit for the targeted audience
Hold benefit roadshows for staff and managers
Essential Skills
Ability to communicate complex information clearly, concisely and tailored to the audience
Strong eye for detail and accuracy in data
Ability to identify data trends and create effective management information reports
Effective problem solving and dispute resolution skills
Demonstrated understanding of how recognition and rewards support the employee life cycle, facilitates employee engagement and delivers on key business objectives
Advanced Excel skills and company with Word and PowerPoint
Experience in using HR and payroll systems (e.g. ResourceLink Aurora)
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients
CPP/CIPD qualified/HR degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Desirable Skills
Occasional business travel, including overnight as necessary
Must hold a driving license valid in the UK
Occasional work outside normal business hours during peak times and as required by the business
