An opportunity for an experienced Multi-skilled Service Engineer is available with my client who are leading manufacturer of automated pharmaceutical packaging machinery both UK and Ireland. To be considered for this position you will be confident with electrical and mechanical service, repair, maintenance and modifications on similar pharmaceutical packaging machinery, special purpose machinery or automated equipment. You will also have previous customer facing experience and be happy to travel to pharmaceutical customers in the UK and Ireland.
Multi-skilled Service Engineer role:
Reporting to the Service Manager the successful service engineer will be based from home and responsible for the following:
* Service and maintenance of automated pharmaceutical packaging machinery and associated equipment
* Travel in UK and Ireland to customer sites to install, maintain, inspect and repair pharmaceutical packaging machinery.
* Install, maintain, repairs both mechanical and electrical systems and components on my client’s machinery following blueprints, electrical codes, basic PLC modifications, schematics, and manuals.
* Provide production support to customers who own my clients automated equipment.
* Complete machinery modifications and upgrades.
* Training customers and their staff in electrical and mechanical aspects.
Multi-skilled Service Engineer requirement:
Educated with a relevant electrical engineering qualification ONC / HNC or similar
Multi-skilled with both electrical and mechanical skills
Proven pharmaceutical packaging machinery / automated machinery / special purpose machinery, field service background.
Basic PLC experience
Valid UK Passport
Happy to travel UK and Ireland with nights away
Excellent time management skills
Confident and friendly communicator
Some weekend work is required
