This Project Manager role is with a Top 100 consultancy that specialises in the residential sector. A growing firm that has opened several new offices over the last few years they are looking to add to their existing team to deliver new build residential developments in the northern home counties. They offer a wide variety of services to their clients including project, cost, and design management, and have recently been awarded several major frameworks
Role
The role will see you manage projects from inception to completion, including client liaison as Project Manager / Project Deliverer / Employers Agent.
•Liaise closely with Clients, Contractors, Developers.
•Deal with/organising all pre-contract investigations, surveys and other due diligence issues required by Clients, including sustainability issues.
•Whole Life Cost appraisals.
•Prepare Employer’s Requirements and Performance Specifications.
•Amend contracts, prepare to Build Agreements and JCT contracts.
•Reviewing schemes against NDSS/LDS requirements and advising clients accordingly.
•Co-ordinate the management of both S106 schemes and more complex land-led projects ensuring timely and satisfactory delivery to Clients.
•Chair site meetings
•Timely issue of relevant Instructions, Certificates, and Notices.
•Carry out/organize End of Defects Inspections; monitor defects; issue relevant Certificates/Notices.
Candidate
The successful candidate will have worked in a project management role or similar for an established consultancy or developer and ideally, will have worked on residential projects previously. Membership to the ICIOB is desired but the client will offer training and mentorship to achieve this if you haven't.
