An exceptional role for a Manufacturing / Production Operator from any product background, to join a world-class innovative R&D and manufacturing, engineering company. You will be the critical link between our Research & Development and production departments. A very stable business. Product training will be provided.
BASIC SALARY: £28,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)

· Profit share scheme paid twice yearly (after 6 months qualifying period)
· Work hours Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm. Friday 8am – 1.30pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacturing Operator, Production Operator, Production Operative
You'll lead the production of small batches of new products. A hands-on role encompassing a spectrum of duties as diverse as mixing raw materials, through to presenting production statistics.
Duties will include:
· Varied work, from producing a few parts to many hundreds of parts.
· Physically weighing raw materials, mixing and casting the ceramic slurry into moulds.
· Removing parts from moulds and subsequent post casting processes.
· Identifying process improvements through doing the job and communicating those potential initiatives.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Manufacturing Operator, Production Operator, Production Operative
We welcome applications from a variety of Manufacturing / Production Operator product backgrounds. Critical success factors will include initiative, attention to detail and the ability to work independently. We will happily provide training on technical materials.
You will need to be:
· ApPractical individual who can work with minimum supervision.
· Somebody who is capable of identifying and communicating process improvements.
· Happy to roll up your sleeves.
· Flexible and reliable.
