Mechanical Service Engineer

We are currently working with a project turnkey engineering company who are involved in a wide variety of hospital and operating theatre projects across the UK.

Due to winning new contracts they are looking to expand their team and hire a mechanical field-based engineer. As you can imagine, this opportunity provides an extremely clean working environment and great conditions in comparison to most industries.

You will be joining a well-established team where most engineers have been employed with the company for at least 5-10 years.

Job Overview

To attend sites throughout the UK working predominantly in hospital operating theatres.
To work closely with other members of the installation and service team.
To understand health and safety whilst working in a clinically clean or construction site environment.Responsibilities and Duties

To deliver and collect materials, plant, and tools to and from the place of work.
To follow company procedures and be able to carry out work instructions in a timely manner.
To be able to work unsupervised.
To work to a timetable in order to carry out planned maintenance.
Have the ability to undertake on the job training.
To be able to diagnose faults in equipment as well as 3rd party equipment.
To be able to carry out on the job repairs/replacement of equipment.
To have a working knowledge of third-party products.
To carry out in house training on new product ranges.
To be able to communicate with the customer.
To carry out site surveys.
Keep vans clean and tidy and stock levels correct.Qualifications

Driving license
ESC card
Scaffold and mobile platform training
Asbestos awareness
MIA and Reset
Electrical Part P
