We have an exciting opportunity for a Coach Station Manager, based at MIlton Keynes, who will drive the delivery of excellent customer service on site, ensuring a safe, secure and customer focused working environment. You will provide leadership and motivation, team coaching and personal development, whilst acting as a role model performer and brand ambassador for the business at all times.
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate expert accuracy levels and have a fantastic eye for detail with the ability to build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. You will have previous experience of managing and supporting teams, employee relations, facility management and working to targets within a fast paced customer service environment. You will evidence a proactive, solution orientated, collaborative and can do attitude in all areas of duties, along with confident communication & people skills with an ability to put people at ease.
What you'll do…
Ensure the smooth operation of the site activities and own service delivery monitoring and maintenance of a safe environment.
Recruit, develop and motivate the team nurturing an environment where they can excel through encouragement, empowerment and ensure personal development plans are in place for all, whilst identifying training needs for the team and ensure a succession plan is in place.
Promote safety, highlighting any areas of concern and ensuring safe working practices are adhered to –proactively intervening to prevent unsafe actions from occurring and conduct annual and ad-hoc risk assessments for site working processes.
Lead the team by example and drive them to deliver a consistent level of high performance, working together to achieve an excellent standard of customer service at all times via a continual conversation approach. This will include spending time carrying out the customer service role along with encouraging the team to use initiative and problem solving skills to own customer issues ensuring a positive outcome is achieved.
Act as a brand ambassador through excellent personal presentation standards and detailed product knowledge and ensure site and staff are presented to the highest standards at all times.
Promote National Express services and products to customers and staff to maximise sales opportunities at the site, contributing to revenue generation on site through ticket sales and amendments.
