My Client, based in Wooburn Green, is looking for a Warehouse Operative/ Driver to join their team on a temp to perm basis. They will also consider those looking for a straight permanent role.

Standard Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday; 8:00am – 5.30pm, Friday; 08:00am – 17:00pm
* The company will also consider someone who would like work a minimum of 30hours on a part time/ flexi basis, working hours TBC

Pay: £9.95 – £11ph

Job description
To assist with the processing of goods in and out of the warehouse and to deliver goods to customers using the company vehicles in a professional, timely and efficient manner.

This is a full-time or nearly full-time role suitable for a person who has a strong "team spirit" mindset, excellent communication skills and a safe, accurate and methodical work ethic. Preference will be given to those with a clean driving licence, good IT skills, some electrical knowledge and an understanding of small company working methods. There is scope for progression and personal development.

Job Functions:
1/ Check incoming goods against supplier delivery notes and highlight errors & omissions
2/ Put away products away in the correct locations
2/ Pick, check and pack outgoing goods against Dispatch notes
3/ Use company procedures to dispatch goods by couriers (using relevant software)
4/ Use Company equipment to load/unload heavy goods and deliver to local clients by van
5/ Carry out stock-taking as directed and utilise accounts software to adjust stock
6/ Carry out administration of stores paperwork and procedures as directed
7/ Follow instruction from the Warehouse Supervisor

Skillset: Good IT and verbal communication skills are an essential requirement … This role will suit a physically fit, methodical, flexible and adaptable person capable of working under pressure within a procedural framework
