Head of Supply Chain Operations

DK Recruitment are looking for a Head of Supply Chain Operations to provide overall leadership across our clients global supply chain operations enabling the function to deliver a first class service experience to all of their online and store customers in a cost effective and efficient manner. In addition to this you will help design, develop and implement the supply chain strategy for the business to support the next phase of the business’s growth.

This role will be ideally suited to an individual who has the versatility and capacity to operate at all levels of an organisation, excels in taking the lead, organising and setting clear direction for their team and wants to use their wide supply chain experience to make a real difference to the performance of themselves and the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams across the UK and International operations, including inbound freight management and export operations.

• Ensure supply chain facilities have robust forward-looking operational and capacity plans.

• Work closely with 3PL Partners to ensure they have plans and resources in place to deliver the group requirements to agreed budgets across all our operations

• Produce and deliver robust financial plans for the supply chain operations with effective KPI monitoring.

• Manage Partners (transport providers; MHE suppliers; fleet suppliers; general equipment suppliers; consultants etc.) as required to ensure outstanding service, cost control and partnership development (mutual benefit)

• Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met across all facilities including proactive strategies to manage the well-being of colleagues working in the function.
