You will be responsible for developing, administering and facilitating training curriculum for a variety of audiences using adult learning strategies, which meets the Learning and Development strategy for the business
This position is full-time, traveling to the relevant sites, due to the travel involved with this position a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
The Training and Development Specialist will deliver training in a variety of forums, including in-person both domestically and internationally, as well as web-based training.
The role also requires the review of training documentation, preparation, maintenance, and presentation of training reports, metrics to members of the management team and the client, as well as assists with new employee onboarding.
How you will make an impact:
To actively participate and support the development of Securitas Security Services (UK) Ltd.
Conduct an initial assessment of the learners to ensure entry requirements are met.
Provide input into the development of innovative, inclusive, and challenging learning resources and activities for area of expertise, to ensure learning outcomes are successfully met.
Communicate all learning outcomes to the learners & monitor learner progress throughout every lesson, providing positive and constructive feedback to learners where evidenced.
Deliver interesting and motivating lessons which engage learners using a variety of delivery methods, resources and activities which are context-appropriate.
Identify additional learner support needs and offer appropriate guidance.
Attend relevant training or CPD events to maintain sector competence.
Essential Skills
5-year checkable work history
Experience in delivering Door Supervisor, Security Guard & CCTV training to SIA standards.
Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
Ability to build relationships and fully engage with various management teams
Exceptional communication skills – written & verbal
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
Excellent organizational skills and extremely high attention to detail.
Effective time management in order to deliver projects on time and that meet the expectation.Desirable
NEBOSH qualification
L3 or higher Spectator Safety qualification
Mental Health First Aid Trainer qualification
V1 – Internal Verifier qualification
